Unbound Digital believes in our local community and that we should all give back the good that is received. We have partnered with several Non-Profit Organizations in our community to provide low, or no cost, IT Services, Hardware, Networking Equipment and ongoing monitoring and maintenance of their Servers, Networks, and Workstations.
Summit Leadership is an invaluable community resource organization. They help different organizations by helping them Connect, Provide Consulting, Coaching, and Caring. They also have a great facility that is able to be used by any of the people that connect as partners with Summit. They are a Faith based origination that really helps our community.
Boys and Girls Club of Johnson City provides a lot of kids a place to go after school, community activities, and Summer Programs. Their mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. They help a lot of kids Learn and Grow, Learn Life-Enhancing character development and provide hope and opportunity.
One Acre Café is located at 603 West Walnut Street in downtown Johnson City, TN. The café was established to further address the escalating issues of hunger and food insecurity in our community. One Acre Cafe utilizes the model provided by the One World Everybody Eats Foundation joining the growing family of more than forty other community cafes across the country. This progressive model is new to the Johnson City area and will be a great addition to the plans for downtown revitalization.
One Acre Café offers our community healthy and nutritious food in a warm and inviting space. There are suggested donations for those who can pay or pay it forward and the ability to volunteer in exchange for a meal for those who cannot. Our café offers a passionate, skilled chef who works with local farmers to produce amazing cuisine.
The mission of Hands On! is to inspire discovery and understanding of science and the arts in a place where learning and fun go hand in hand. Hands On! Museum was founded in 1986 and opened its doors for the first time in 1987. Since then it has more than doubled its exhibit space and welcomed over 1.5 million visitors! Hands On! provides the community quality educational programs and events in the Arts, Sciences, and Humanities.
Appalachian Christian Camp (CampACC) is a non-denominational Christian Summer Camp for youth entering Kindergarten through 12th grade. The camp program begins the first of June and continues through the summer, in early August . Camp ACC teaches Christian principles and values in a fun and exciting way that challenges today’s youth. While Camp ACC is a church camp, you do not have to be a member of a church to attend.
All programs and activities take place on the Camp ACC campus which includes a ball field, sand volleyball court, swimming pool, gymnasium with an indoor rock climbing wall, open-air worship center, air-conditioned dormitories and walking trails all surrounded by the beauty of Unicoi County.
