Windows - How to get Connected

Click the Remote Support Button to download the Remote Support Tool.

You will be taken to our support page to enter the 9 digit code to connect

Enter the 9 digit code provided by a UD Technician and then Click the download button
Once downloaded, Click the downloaded File at the Bottom of Chrome or top of Firefox or Edge

If Windows Pops up and asked if N-Able Take Control or UD Remote can make changes to your computer click "Allow" or "Yes:
Then you will see a Splash Screen and it will load to the below Window.

Let the UD Tech know that you are ready and the tech will connect to your computer to help

Once Connected you can Chat with the Technician view the chat box on the remote software.

Mac - How to get Connected

Apple / Mac How To:

Click the Remote Support Button to download the Remote Support Tool.

You will be taken to our support page to enter the 9 digit code provided by a UD Technician to connect. Make sure you click on the MAC tab as shown below.

Enter the 9 digit code and then Click the download button
Once Downloaded you can find the Mac Support tool at the top of Safari where the download arrow is. Just click on Mac Support to open it.

There will be a warning pop up asking if you want to access the files in the folder "Remote Support Applet" Click Ok
Now you will see the below window. Click on the Remote Support Applet to open it.

You will get a warning asking to open "Remote Support Applet" just click "Open"
Next you will see the below dialog box asking for permissions for screen recording. This is required for any remote support tool on a Mac, Click Open System Preferences.

Once opened, Click the Lock Icon in the bottom Left to unlock the settings. Type in your Mac Username and Password on the next Popup. Then check the box beside "Remote Support Applet"

While you have the above screen open, You can also click on "Accessibility" in the left pane and check the box beside "Remote Support Applet" then find "Full Disk Access" in the left pane and check the box beside "Remote Support Applet" as well. Now you can close this dialog box.
When you close the box it will ask if you want to restart the remote support applet, just say "Quit and reopen.

Now you should see the above screen waiting for a UD tech to connect to your system so the tech can work on your Mac.
